VIP Products Dog Toy ManufacturerAbout the Role VIP Products is looking for a dependable, motivated, and well-rounded Warehouse Associate to join our North Carolina distribution center. This is not a position where you will spend every day doing one task at one station. We are looking for someone who can become a true utility player within the warehouse- someone who learns quickly, takes initiative, works well independently, and is comfortable jumping between departments and responsibilities depending on what the team needs. The ideal candidate has experience with different areas of warehouse operations and is the kind of person who sees what needs to be done and gets to work without. One day may involve shipping and order processing, another may include unloading a trailer, replenishing inventory, building pallets, operating a forklift, helping with receiving, or completing general warehouse projects. What You’ll Do · Work across multiple areas of warehouse operations as business needs change · Load and unload trucks, trailers, containers, and incoming shipments · Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely · Pick, pack, label, replenish, and move inventory throughout the distribution center · Build, wrap, stage, and organize pallets · Follow Ti/Hi requirements when stacking and preparing product · Process shipments using UPS WorldShip, FedEx, and other shipping systems · Assist with receiving and put-away of incoming inventory · Perform inventory counts and help maintain accurate inventory records · Read and understand Bills of Lading and shipping documentation · Use scanners, mobile devices, computers, and warehouse software · Assist with box making, labeling, cleaning, replenishment, and other warehouse needs · Work at elevated positions on approved equipment when required · Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment · Follow warehouse procedures and safety requirements · Adapt to changing priorities throughout the workday · Help other departments when additional support is needed · Identify opportunities to make processes more efficient and communicate ideas to management · Take ownership of assigned work and follow tasks through to completion What We’re Looking For · Previous forklift experience strongly preferred · All warehouse associates are expected to learn and safely operate a forklift as part of their position · Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, fulfillment, distribution, or inventory experience preferred · Comfortable performing a variety of warehouse duties rather than working exclusively in one area · Able to learn new processes, equipment, and technology · Able to read and understand English · Reliable, punctual, and dependable · Self-motivated and able to work without constant supervision · Comfortable asking questions when clarification is needed · Able to follow instructions and adapt when priorities change · Strong attention to detail · Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed · Comfortable using scanners, computers, mobile applications, email, and other warehouse technology · Valid driver’s license and current registration in your name Physical Requirements This is an active warehouse position.
