Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator

About the Role We are looking for a reliable and experienced Warehouse Associate – Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of warehouse experience , preferably in a packaging, manufacturing, or distribution environment , and is comfortable operating different types of material-handling equipment. This is a hands-on position involving receiving, shipping, loading and unloading trucks, moving inventory, organizing the warehouse, and supporting day-to-day warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities Safely operate counterbalance forklifts, high-reach forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and manual pallet jacks Load and unload trucks and trailers Move, stage, and organize pallets and inventory throughout the warehouse Prepare orders for shipment Receive incoming materials and verify quantities Pick, pack, wrap, and label products as required Maintain an organized and clean warehouse Follow all workplace health and safety procedures Perform regular equipment and workplace safety checks Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization Work closely with warehouse and production teams Perform other general warehouse duties as required Qualifications & Experience Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience Previous experience in a packaging, manufacturing, distribution, or similar warehouse environment is strongly preferred Demonstrated experience operating a counterbalance forklift Experience operating a high-reach forklift Experience using electric/manual pallet jacks Ability to safely lift and move materials and work in a physically demanding environment Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Reliable, punctual, and dependable Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Strong workplace safety awareness Forklift certification is an asset Work Authorization Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada . Applicants who are working in Canada under a work permit must have at least 2 years remaining on their current work authorization at the time of application.
