Job Overview Keep Products Moving. Solve Problems. Make an Impact. Like a workday with variety? One morning, you might be staging furniture for an installation crew, updating inventory, answering a client’s question, and tracking down the right part for a service call—all before lunch. At T&M Services, this role brings together warehouse operations, computer work, customer support, and hands-on furniture service. We’re looking for someone who enjoys staying active, keeping details organized, and helping the team get the job done. T&M Services is a commercial furniture installation and logistics partner serving the Midwest. Our Des Moines warehouse supports furniture installations, corporate relocations, and decommissions. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you’ll help make sure our crews and clients have the products, parts, and information they need. What You’ll Do Keep freight moving: Receive, unload, inspect, and organize furniture and materials. Document damage, shortages, and discrepancies. Get crews ready: Pull, stage, pack, and load products, tools, and parts for installations, deliveries, relocations, and service calls. Operate equipment safely: Use forklifts and order pickers to move, retrieve, and store products. Keep records accurate: Use our Warehouse Management System to enter receiving and shipping information, update inventory, and track product locations. Help our clients: Answer questions by phone, email, and in person, provide updates, and connect clients with the right team member when needed. Support furniture service: Assist with assembly, adjustments, minor repairs, and identifying or preparing replacement parts. Stay on top of parts: Organize and label hardware and service inventory, track usage, count stock, and flag replenishment needs. Adapt as priorities change: Work closely with the Warehouse Manager and field crews to keep scheduled jobs and unexpected requests moving. Take pride in the workspace: Keep aisles and staging areas clean, remove packaging and debris, report concerns, and follow safety procedures. Pitch in with other warehouse and operational duties as needed. What You Bring Forklift proficiency and previous order picker experience are required , along with the ability to meet all equipment training, authorization, and safety requirements. A valid driver’s license is required. Comfort using computers, entering information accurately, sending emails, and learning warehouse or inventory software. Clear communication and customer service skills—you’re comfortable speaking directly with clients and following through on questions. Attention to detail when handling products, checking paperwork, and updating inventory. Dependability, initiative, and a willingness to move between physical work, computer tasks, and customer needs. Furniture assembly, installation, repair, or service experience is a plus. What the Workday Looks Like This is an active position with regular lifting, bending, reaching, standing, and walking, balanced with computer work and client communication. You’ll handle furniture and components weighing 50–75 pounds, using appropriate equipment and team assistance as needed. Essential duties must be performed safely, with or without reasonable accommodation. Our crews are rolling by 7:00 AM , so being on time and ready to work matters. Freight schedules shift and project needs change. Staying organized, communicating clearly, and adjusting priorities will help you succeed here. Why T&M Services? Your work helps crews start prepared, clients stay informed, and projects run smoothly. You’ll join a straightforward, hardworking team and build skills across warehouse operations, logistics, furniture service, and customer support—with opportunities to grow as your skills develop. Starting pay: $18.00–$22.00 per hour, plus benefits. Sound like your kind of work? Send us your resume. We’d like to meet y…
