Warehouse Associate

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to shipping, receiving, and inventory management. This position requires a strong attention to detail. We are a food warehouse, so maintaining proper sanitary measures is a must. There will also be overtime hours during our peak season from October through December. Responsibilities Piece count and sort incoming freight Verify freight received to invoice or packing slip Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently Build and wrap pallets for customer orders Qualifications Ability to lift 50lbs randomly throughout the day Able to stand and walk for 2 or more hours at a time Ability to read and write English fluently Basic knowledge of addition, subtraction and multiplication Experience Previous warehouse experience is an asset, but not required Electric & manual pallet jack operation is an asset Electric forklift experience is an asset Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.00-$21.00 per hour Language: English (required) Work Location: In person
