General Warehouse Worker Job Description Job Title: General Warehouse Worker Department: Warehouse / Operations Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor or Operations Manager Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Warehouse Worker to support daily warehouse and manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for picking and packing orders, shipping and receiving materials, labeling products, inventory handling, and assisting with general production and warehouse duties. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment accurately and efficiently Receive incoming shipments and verify products against packing slips or purchase orders Label, sort, organize, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations Assist with manufacturing, assembly, or production processes as needed Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counts or stock audits Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently Inspect products for quality and report damaged or defective materials Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow company safety procedures and warehouse protocols Support additional warehouse or operational tasks as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Previous warehouse, manufacturing, shipping/receiving, or production experience preferred Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift Basic math and reading skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and reliability Work Environment Warehouse and manufacturing environment Exposure to varying temperatures, machinery, and moving equipment May require overtime, weekends, or flexible scheduling depending on business needs Preferred Skills Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems Knowledge of inventory control procedures Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to meet productivity and accuracy standards Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour Work Location: In person
