Warehouse Associate

Overview Start $19hr - $20hr After 60 Days - We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and materials handling. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse processes and the ability to operate various equipment safely and effectively. Duties Manage inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and cranes for loading and unloading goods. Perform picking and packing of orders accurately and efficiently using RF scanners. Assist in shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Participate in regular inventory audits and assist in the implementation of warehouse management systems (WMS). Handle heavy lifting and materials handling tasks as required. Support packaging operations to prepare products for shipment. Experience Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred, with a focus on inventory management and order fulfillment. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including forklifts and cranes. Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes and best practices. Experience with warehouse management systems (AS400 or similar) is a plus. Mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance is beneficial. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor is advantageous but not required.
