Position Overview This role involves managing inventory tracking, software logging, and maintaining clear communication with teammates and management. Daily tasks include relocating warehouse stock to support restocking needs, driving to job sites for material delivery and pickup, and sorting inventory—including the disposal of decommissioned meters. Additionally, the role maintains warehouse standards through routine cleaning, proper waste management, and scrap metal sorting. Key Responsibilities Handle administrative inventory duties, including updating internal software systems, tracking processed materials, and maintaining accurate digital records Coordinate the placement, swapping, and hauling of scrap collection bins with logistics staff to optimize warehouse floor space and prevent production bottlenecks Maintain organized storage zones and workstations while performing daily pre-use safety inspections on all assigned equipment and tools Partner with warehouse associates and management to report daily output metrics, reconcile stock counts, and communicate operational progress Enforce strict compliance with occupational health and safety protocols across all manual labor, material handling, and daily warehouse operations Qualifications High school diploma / GED is required Experience in warehousing, general labor, manufacturing, or a fast-paced industrial environment Ability to perform physical labor, including frequent lifting and standing for extended periods Strong attention to detail with basic computer proficiency for inventory tracking Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Clean criminal background check KTI Utility Services is committed to providing a barrier-free environment for our employees, customers, job applicants, and visitors.
