Warehouse Associate

Schedule Type: Non-exempt, Hourly, Weekend Availability Required Location: Doral, FL Work Environment: Cold Storage/refrigerated warehouse DISCLAIMER : This position will initially be offered through a staffing agency for a period of 3–4 months. Based on performance and business needs, there may be an opportunity to transition into a direct, permanent position with the company. Position Summary We are seeking a Warehouse Associate (Forklift Operator) who will be responsible for operating forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials and products within the warehouse. Key Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts to move and transport goods, materials, and products within the warehouse. Load and unload shipments from trucks and containers using forklift equipment Assist in picking and staging orders for shipment based on order lists and inventory records Ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders Participate in inventory counts and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records Report on discrepancies or damaged goods to the Warehouse Operations Manager Adhere to safety guidelines, regulations, and protocols while operating forklifts and handling Qualifications Forklift certification and hands-on experience (required) Flexible schedule, including weekends and extended hours as needed (required) Experience in food distribution, logistics or export environment (preferred) Ability to review documents and understand order details Comfortable working in cold warehouse conditions for extended periods Ability to stand for long periods, lift to required limits, and perform physical tasks
