As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and experienced Warehouse Associate / Driver to join our team and contribute to our success. Basic Responsibilities (but not limited to): RESPONSIBILITIES Operations: Check that bobtail/vehicle is in good condition before and after use, complete proper forms Ensure that all products are in good condition when leaving the facility and before dropping off product to customers. Ensure that customers sign proper documentation stating they received products in good condition with signature and drop off time. Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area. Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner. Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied. Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles. Accepting payments for delivered items. Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients. Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules. Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record. Submit Driving Records to HR every 5 years. Operating heavy machinery (forklift, bobtail trucks, vehicles) always following safety procedures. Completing a pre-operational form before using any machinery. Report any machinery damages to Manager/Supervisor. Securing loads to machine before transportation Reporting any damaged product before shipping. Identifying workplace safety hazards; and reporting any violations to the proper Management/Supervisor team. Adhering to safety management standards Must wear proper safety gear in warehouse area (steal toe shoes, back brace) Maintain equipment and the Warehouse area clean, safe, and ready for next shift to use. Contribute to team effort to achieve productivity goals Maintains Trucks and Vans by completing preventive maintenance requirements, arranging for repairs. Food Safety: Comply with SQF Food Safety requirements. Follow GMPs Policy. Follow defined HACCP Plan Guidelines. Provide feedback to immediate supervisor on Continuous Improvement Opportunities and Identified Non-Conformances. Record assigned daily activities and ensure records are legible, clear, concise and accurate. Keep the working area clean and follow cleaning and sanitation procedures. Report any pest sighting throughout the facility. Minimize risk of biological, chemical and physical contamination by following GMPs, Allergen, and Foreign Matter Contamination Policies. Report any suspicious threat concerning product adulteration or contamination Participate in the monthly food safety team and/or HACCP meetings. Follow up with resulting action plans. Enforce food safety practices on daily activities. EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS Valid CA Drivers License Minimum of 2 years driving experience. Bilingual in Spanish. Forklift Certified. EDUCATION NEEDED N/A PHYSICAL DEMANDS Remaining Upright for long periods of time. Able to lift 50 pounds occasionally at or above waist height.
