Position Overview We are seeking a dependable, self-motivated Warehouse Associate to manage material handling, maintain facility standards, and run occasional local deliveries. You will handle freight ranging from boxed commercial lighting inventory to crated industrial electronics machinery, working independently to keep the warehouse running smoothly while coordinating directly with our sales, technical, and operations teams. Key Responsibilities Facility Ownership: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, organization, and professional appearance throughout our large warehouse facility. Material Handling & Equipment Operation: Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, stage, and store incoming freight, machinery crates, pallets, and lighting products. Order Preparation: Accurately pull, pack, and stage orders for customer pickup, commercial freight carriers (LTL/FTL), and local delivery. Local Deliveries: Drive a company delivery van periodically to transport lighting and equipment orders directly to local accounts. Independent Execution: Take initiative on daily tasks and warehouse upkeep with minimal supervision while maintaining clear communication with the front office. Qualifications & Requirements Forklift Experience: Active Forklift Operator Certification with proven experience handling palletized freight and crated equipment in a large warehouse environment. Valid Driver’s License: Clean, insurable driving record (required for operating company delivery vehicles). Self-Sufficiency: Strong internal drive, ability to stay productive independently, and a positive, team-oriented mindset. Physical Capability: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and maneuver cartons and materials weighing up to 50–75 lbs regularly. Reliability: Punctual and dependable attendance for a set 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM daily schedule. Compensation & Benefits Predictable Schedule: Straight 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
