GENERAL DESCRIPTION Ted Wiens currently has a full-time position available. The primary purpose of the Warehouse Associate is to load/unload tires, stack tires, deliver and/or pick up tires and other parts throughout Las Vegas and surrounding areas; a company vehicle is provided. Warehouse Associates should be comfortable driving large vehicles such as flat bed and box trucks; CDL is not required. SPECIFIC DUTIES Heavy lifting is required: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently, and lift up to 100 lbs occasionally. Pulling orders; attention to detail is a must. Loading and stacking tires; although heavy lifting is required, specialized equipment is provided. Unloading tires; although heavy lifting is required, specialized equipment is provided. Must keep warehouse need and tidy at all times. Must follow and adhere to all OSHA and company safety standards, and ensure the department is run in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with Ted Wiens' company policies, procedures and "Quality Standards". Must follow all company policies and procedures without fail. Must be flexible with work hours, days off and locations as assigned by management, overtime may be required. Must be able to communicate with all company staff and work effectively with management, co-workers and outside vendors. Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times. Any and all other duties as assigned by management, which may include running errands, washing and gassing up vehicles, sweeping/mopping floors, cleaning up shop or parking lot, cleaning restrooms, etc. WE ARE A DRUG FREE WORKPLACE, PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREEN IS REQUIRED (INCLUDING THC), as per DOT requirements.
