Warehouse Associate - Delivery Driver

We are looking for a Warehouse Associate and Delivery Driver to join our team at Richard’s Kitchen Store in Houma, LA, US. As a member of the warehouse team, you will be responsible for receiving and organizing incoming stock, as well as ensuring the safety and security of inventory. You will also be involved in daily housekeeping and shipping and receiving tasks, including preparing and packing orders for delivery. A Class D driver's license is required for this position. We value experienced applicants who can bring a practical, organized approach to the Warehouse. Good work ethic and time management are the 2 most important characteristics. This position is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and offers competitive hourly pay and benefits. Compensation: $16-$18 hourly Responsibilities: Pick, pack, and label products for shipment Receive, inspect, count, and unpack incoming shipments Load and unload trucks in a safe and timely manner Deliver Equipment and Orders to Customers Unload and Install/Set in place equipment at Customer's location Maintain accurate records of inventory stock Ensure the warehouse is kept clean and organized in accordance with safety regulations Forklift operation in and out of the warehouse Loading and unloading delivery and freight trucks Working with the sales team and the accounting team on proper processes and systems Performing daily tasks and duties Class D driver's license required Qualifications: US Work Authorization Organized and Accountable for actions Familiarity and/or experience operating a forklift Experience using a tape measure Previous construction experience Delivery driving experience Ability to lift 50 lbs Customer service experience Class D driver's license and clean bill of health to drive a box truck Able to hang, install, set in place, etc new products or equipment we sell in a professional careful way About Company Established in Louisiana since 1977 Excellent reputation Strong existing customer base Upside growth potential Opportunity to help shape the future of the company Performance-based compensation Leadership opportunities as the company grows
