Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver Full-Time | Hourly (Non-Exempt) | Timonium, MD Reports to: Warehouse Operations Manager Gramophone is seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver to join our team at our Timonium, MD warehouse. This is a hands-on warehouse position with the opportunity to fill in as a Delivery Driver when needed . The primary focus of this position will be supporting the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, including receiving and organizing inventory, pulling and preparing orders, assisting with inventory transfers, loading and unloading products, and helping maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. When needed, this position will also assist with the delivery of Gramophone products, including audio-video (AV) equipment, furniture, and related products, to residential and commercial clients throughout the greater Baltimore and suburban Washington areas. Delivery responsibilities may also include transporting inventory between our other retail locations in Columbia, Gaithersburg, Owings Mills, and Hunt Valley, MD. This is primarily a Monday through Friday, daytime position with no overnight travel. Delivery assignments will generally be scheduled based on business needs and may include working with an additional warehouse associate or delivery assistant. Additional responsibilities may include: Assisting with loading and unloading trucks and delivery vehicles. Pulling, staging, packing, and preparing customer orders for delivery or pickup. Receiving, organizing, and putting away incoming inventory. Assisting with inventory transfers between locations. Assisting with light furniture assembly and installation. Connecting and setting up general AV equipment as needed. Maintaining an organized, clean, and safe warehouse and loading area. Assisting with vehicle loading, cleaning, and general upkeep. Working with the Fleet Manager regarding vehicle maintenance, repairs, and damage reporting when assigned to delivery duties. Providing professional and courteous customer service during deliveries. Following all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations. Delivery Driver Requirements: Must maintain a valid driver's license. Must be at least 25 years of age with an acceptable driving record. Ability to safely operate a two-axle box truck with lift gate (approximately 16 feet). Ability to lift, lower, and carry packages weighing up to 75 pounds, with assistance for heavier items. Must obtain and maintain a valid DOT medical card/certificate. Gramophone will sponsor or reimburse the cost for qualified employees. Comfortable driving locally and interacting professionally with residential and commercial customers. Previous delivery or box-truck driving experience is preferred but not required. Warehouse Requirements: Previous warehouse, inventory, delivery, or related experience preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active warehouse environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately handle inventory and customer orders. Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and follow established procedures. Dependable, punctual, and willing to assist wherever needed. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
