Alliant ScientificRole Description This is a full-time, on-site Warehouse Associate role located in the San Diego Metropolitan Area. Alliant Scientific is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our Shipping & Handling team. In this role, The Warehouse Associate will be responsible fo r accurately processing incoming and outgoing shipments — including creating domestic parcel shipping labels, freight bills of lading, and international shipment documentation — while maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring products are packaged and handled safely to meet quality standards. The role also involves operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, following safety procedures, and supporting the logistics needs of laboratory instrumentation projects. Key Responsibilities ∙Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment in accordance with company procedures ∙Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments for accuracy and damage ∙Create domestic parcel shipment labels (UPS, FedEx, etc.) ∙Prepare freight shipment Bills of Lading ∙Prepare and process international shipment documents ∙Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, hand trucks, forklifts if certified) ∙Barcode and scan inventory to maintain accurate records ∙Clean and prepare instruments per company standards ∙Perform deliveries and pick-ups of instruments as needed — must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable record. ∙Label, wrap, and box products to meet shipping and handling standards, including any special handling for scientific/laboratory materials ∙Coordinate with carriers (UPS, FedEx, freight, etc.) for pickups and deliveries ∙Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse, shipping, receiving, order processing tasks ∙Keep warehouse, service and shipping areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols Qualifications ∙High school diploma or equivalent ∙Prior experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics role preferred ∙Valid driver's license required ∙Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. repetitively and stand/walk for extended periods ∙Basic computer skills; experience with inventory or shipping software a plus ∙Forklift certification desired (or willingness to obtain) ∙Strong attention to detail and organizational skills ∙Ability to work independently and as part of a team ∙Willingness to travel locally for deliveries and pick-ups Why Join Alliant Scientific ∙Competitive pay ∙Opportunity to grow within a scientific/laboratory supply company ∙Team-oriented, safety-first work environment To Apply: Please send resume to hr@alliantscientific.com
