Warehouse Associate

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the packaging process, ensuring that products are prepared for shipment accurately and efficiently. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols. Duties Load and unload products from delivery trucks and pallets. Operate heavy equipment including forklifts and pump trucks as needed. Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring all items are accounted for. Utilize cranes for moving heavy items within the warehouse. Perform quality checks on packaged products to ensure they meet company standards. Accurately and efficiently pick and pack product according to established standards Engage in heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper lifting techniques are utilized. Receive and make labels and boxes based on priority Print and organize shipping labels Create and print bills of lading, manifests, and related inbound and outbound documentation. Determine and build packaging based on product size; Pack orders to the customer’s requirement or from provided specifications Work with the Warehouse management team to assess & prioritize daily workloads Ensure tasks are picked and confirmed within agreed time frames, reporting daily exceptions to the Warehouse Management team Self-identifies mistakes, identify problems, and recommends solutions Ability to multi-skill across a variety of warehouse tasks, including some technology. Ensures the warehouse is kept in a clean and tidy condition. Performs other related duties as assigned and ensure all tasks are completed accurately Move and lift 30-50 pounds of product as needed Follow safety regulations Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and efficiency. * Experience Previous experience in warehouse distribution or packing is preferred. Familiarity with mechanical operations and heavy equipment operation is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift. Experience with shipping and receiving processes is beneficial. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work as part of a team are essential qualities for success in this role.
