Warehouse Associate

Job Title : Warehouse Associate The Warehouse Associate will work together with the Warehouse Manager, volunteers, and Transformations Thrift Store employees to ensure that the warehouse is kept in a safe and well-organized manner. The Warehouse Associate will also be responsible for the transport of goods and food to and from the City Mission W. Main Cross and N. Main locations as well. The Warehouse Associate will also work other department’s shifts as needed. Job Description This position is a part time (25 hrs per week) Tuesday - Saturday position. Responsibilities and Requirements · Follow directions from the Operations Director and Warehouse Manager. · Be kind and courteous with community members who are dropping off donations and with the volunteers who are working in the warehouse. · Capable of operating or capable of being trained to operate a forklift. · Capable of lifting 50 pounds. · Have a valid driver’s license. · Pass regularly scheduled and random drug tests. · Attend training to develop skills. Preferred Skills Forklift certified. Warehouse experience. Organizational skills. Customer service experience. Ability to meet schedules and deadlines, to concentrate and pay attention to detail. Work well with others. Must maintain professional competence, ethical integrity, knowledge, and skills. Performs such individual assignments as management may direct.
