We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented, and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our Sacramento warehouse team. The Warehouse Associate will support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, inventory management, product inspection, order fulfillment, and maintaining an organized and safe warehouse environment. The ideal candidate has previous warehouse experience, takes pride in accurate work, and understands that inventory accuracy and proper product handling are critical to our operation. Position Summary The Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, counting, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. This position requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, and physical movement throughout the warehouse. The successful candidate must be able to work independently, follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations Receive, unload, inspect, and organize incoming shipments. Verify incoming products against packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documents. Accurately count units received and verify quantities before products are placed into inventory. Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment. Verify product numbers, descriptions, quantities, and shipping information before orders leave the warehouse. Assist with loading and unloading trucks and delivery vehicles. Move and organize products throughout the warehouse. Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Follow proper procedures for handling, storing, and protecting products. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Assist with general warehouse duties and other tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager. Inventory Management & Accuracy Maintain accurate inventory quantities and product locations. Perform daily or periodic inventory counts and cycle counts. Assist with scheduled physical inventory counts and inventory audits. Count units accurately and carefully , including individual pieces, cartons, cases, and pallets. Compare physical inventory to system records and identify discrepancies. Investigate and report inventory shortages, overages, damaged products, or incorrect items. Properly label and organize inventory to maintain accurate product locations. Help maintain accurate inventory records within the company's warehouse or inventory management system. Communicate inventory issues promptly to the Warehouse Manager. Product Inspection & Quality Control Inspect incoming and outgoing products for visible damage, incorrect items, packaging issues, or quantity discrepancies. Identify damaged or defective products and separate them from sellable inventory. Report quality or product issues to management. Ensure products are properly packaged and protected before shipment. Follow company procedures for handling returns, damaged products, and RMA materials. Shipping & Receiving Assist with daily shipping and receiving activities. Prepare shipments according to customer and carrier requirements. Verify shipping labels and documentation. Coordinate with warehouse and office personnel regarding orders and shipments. Ensure outgoing orders are complete and accurate before loading. Maintain an organized staging area for incoming and outgoing shipments. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience preferred. Previous experience in shipping, receiving, inventory control, or distribution is strongly preferred. Quality control or product inspection experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy. Ability to accurately count products and identify quantity discrepancies.…
