Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our fast-paced distribution center team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing inventory, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring smooth warehouse operations. Your proactive approach will help maintain accurate stock levels, support order fulfillment, and uphold safety standards across the facility. Responsibilities Manage inventory control through accurate tracking and updating. Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials safely throughout the warehouse. Perform order picking and packing tasks with precision using order pickers and other mechanical tools to fulfill customer orders efficiently. Assist in shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming shipments, inspecting goods, and preparing items for outbound delivery. Support warehouse distribution activities by stocking shelves, organizing materials, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations. Participate in heavy lifting, materials handling, and construction-related tasks as needed to support manufacturing or warehouse expansion projects. Skills Proven experience in warehouse operations including inventory management, stocking, picking & packing, shipping & receiving, and order fulfillment. Skilled in operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers with mechanical knowledge of their functions. Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse environments and heavy equipment operation. Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting and materials handling consistently and safely. Previous experience in warehouse supervision or leadership roles is a plus but not required. Knowledge of packaging procedures, load & unload processes, and the use of tools like mechanical lifts or construction equipment is advantageous.
