Guaranteed 45 hours per week, overtime availability, and annual pay increases! Position Overview: Our Warehouse department is seeking to hire Warehouse Associates to join our team. As an essential part of the APS business, our warehouse team is staying busy to meet the growing demands of our customers. We are looking for hard-working team members to maintain our day-to-day operations. We are looking for people who are enthusiastic, ambitious team players. Responsibilities: Inspect incoming inventory for count accuracy and that nothing is damaged. Maintain working knowledge of warehouse and inventory control policies and procedures. Ensure the accuracy of material quantities in stocked locations, keeping aisles clear at all times. Work with the sales team to pull customer orders and confirm precision with customer specifications. Follow and enforce warehouse policy & procedures, keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and safe. Work with Drivers & WH team to prepare delivery trucks for distributions. Receiving all merchandise for stock, working with A/P to document. Basic knowledge of computer systems and/or RF Gun for locating inventory. Qualifications: Ability to analyze and solve problems. Willing and able to safely operate material handling equipment. Ability to multitask handling multiple issues at the same time. Flexibility with schedule to ensure all daily warehouse duties are completed. Must have reliable daily transportation to the Branch. Preferred Qualifications: Operates forklift as needed, we provide certification training but experience is a plus. Product knowledge of plumbing material is . Good organizational and time management skills. Must be able to safely stand and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to safely walk through the warehouse in addition to climbing ladders. Work Environment/Physical Demands: This position requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods as well as the ability to lift 50 lbs. While mainly standard hours are scheduled for this position, 7AM-5PM, Mon-Fri., Sat – 8AM-1PM or 7AM-12PM (depending on the Branch), rotation of staff is required on Saturday’s.
