Overview The role will be a back up to effectively receive all goods delivered to the AirFlo warehouse. Meet drivers and assist with unloading and loading of trucks. The successful candidate will put all return authorization goods into stock or scrap per instructions from the Warehouse Manager. They will receive all raw material and put it into stock. Keep dock area clean and well organized. Maintain a two-bin system. Prepare product for anodizing/powder coating. They will also put away new parts from the receiving dock to the warehouse. Responsibilities Pull parts based on sales order picklist/assembly work orders. Follow pick instructions as noted. Inspect all products for defects, setting aside defective items for follow up and review by Lead. Organize parts in boxes (gaylords) for staging. Using RF scanners and/or computer, issue parts to the work /sales orders. Assist in other departments as needed. Assemble components using appropriate parts and tools in a repetitious manner. Report any assembly or quality issues to the Lead Person. Perform all other duties as assigned. Receive packing orders and determine that correct packing materials are available at packing station. Notify Lead Person if additional materials are needed for packing. Inspect all products for defects, setting aside defective items and notify Lead Person. Pack items in assembled and designated cartons per customer order. Write sales order and box numbers on boxes. Verify all parts and counts for correctness before packing. Report all discrepancies to the Lead Person. Safely operate forklifts and/or pallet jacks to load, unload and move materials within the warehouse. Experience Proven experience in warehouse work activities (i.e. pulling, packing, assembly and shipping) Hands-on experience operating forklifts and other equipment in compliance with OSHA standards Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for order picking and inventory control Knowledge of materials handling procedures, heavy lifting techniques, and safety regulations within a warehouse setting Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
