About the Role
We're processing a high volume of book shipments and need reliable team members to keep things moving. You'll be assigned to one of two roles based on team needs: Package Opener or Barcode Scanner.

Package Opener Responsibilities:

• Open incoming USPS or UPS packages using a provided box cutter
• Remove books and hand them to your scanning partner
• Maintain a steady, consistent pace throughout your shift

Barcode Scanner Responsibilities:

• Scan the barcode on the back of each book using a provided ring scanner
• Sort books into the correct bin behind your station
• Flag damaged or unscannable books for exceptions processing

What We're Looking For:

• Able to stand for the full shift
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
• Comfortable with fast-paced, repetitive tasks
• Dependable and able to follow workflows without supervision
• Comfortable using handheld or wearable scanning equipment (training provided)
• Comfortable using computers and basic software (training provided)

Pay: $15.00/hr
Shift: Morning
Job Type: Contract - Temporary (45 day project) w/ potential extension
