Dunlop TiresJoin Our Team Dunlop Tires North America, Inc. is looking for motivated, dependable, and safety-focused Warehouse Associates to join our growing distribution center team in Joliet, Illinois. This position plays a critical role in ensuring tires are received, stored, picked, packed, and shipped accurately and efficiently to our customers. What You'll Do Receive incoming inventory and place products in the appropriate warehouse locations. Pick and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently. Process shipments utilizing UPS, FedEx, and other carriers. Verify product quantities as picked. Perform forklift pre-shift inspections and complete required safety checklists. Assist with maintaining inventory organization and product flow throughout the warehouse. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe. Assist with additional warehouse and clerical duties as needed. Qualifications Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or distribution center experience preferred. Forklift experience required (sit-down) 1-2 years. Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull products weighing up to 60 pounds. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Excellent communication skills and professional attitude. Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the workday. Ability to safely lift and move up to 60 pounds on a regular basis. Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS WORK EXPERIENCE: One to two (1 - 2) years experience in a warehouse environment. ACADEMIC/TRAINING: A High School diploma or equivalent. SKILLS: Must be forklift certified and able to operate material handling equipment, i.e., forklift, sit down and stand up. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. Be able to read, write and speak English, with basic mathematical skills. Must have the ability to reason logically, use common sense, and resolve issues independently. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands of this position require waling, standing, sitting, hearing, seeing, moving, driving, reaching, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment is typical of a warehouse, with forklifts moving, truck being loaded and unloaded, using propane and electricity, with a strong smell of tires. The environment has uncontrolled air.
