Warehouse Associate Location: Charleston, SC Job Type: Full-time hours (you will be categorized in the system as Part Time for the first 90 days of employment. After the probationary period is over, you will be converted to Full Time in the system). Pay: $20hr (eligible for a pay raise after the 90 day probationary period - pending a positive 90 day review) About the Role McCorquodale Transfer is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Charleston. We are looking for someone with some warehouse experience, though you do not need to be a seasoned professional, and forklift certification is not required. This is a great starting point for a real career, not just a job. Several of our current executives started out on our operations teams. What You Will Do Receive, inspect, organize, and store household and office belongings and moving equipment Prepare and stage items for upcoming jobs, and process items coming back into the warehouse Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe Work as part of a team to lift, carry, and move furniture, boxes, and equipment Follow safety procedures and proper handling techniques Support the crews and the broader operation so every job runs smoothly What We Are Looking For Some prior warehouse experience preferred. You do not need to be a professional No forklift certification required Physically fit and comfortable with an active, hands-on job. A positive attitude and a genuine willingness to learn Strong work ethic and reliability. Someone we can count on to show up and do the job right High standards and attention to detail.
