Warehouse Associate

Job Summary You'll handle the general work that keeps our warehouse running, which mostly means receiving deliveries, putting stock away, and pulling items for outgoing orders. It's a mix, so no two days look exactly the same. We're a mid-sized distribution site, and things usually pick up after lunch when the afternoon trucks arrive, which can make it a fast-paced environment for an hour or two. Expect to be on your feet. You'll also spend some time tidying aisles and checking that shelf labels match what's actually sitting on them, because that gets out of hand faster than you'd think. Responsibilities Unloading trucks and stacking boxes on pallets. Put incoming stock away on the right shelf using the location label. Pulling items for outgoing orders from a pick list. Scan each pallet or carton as it moves in or out. Aisle sweeping and general tidying. Moving pallets with a hand jack, which sometimes means lifting boxes up to 50 pounds. Restocking tape, labels, and wrap as they run low. Flagging damaged goods or count mismatches to the supervisor and writing them on the receiving sheet so the next shift isn't guessing. Qualifications You spot a wrong label or a crushed corner before the box gets shelved, and you mention it right away. When deliveries stack up at the dock, keeping them sorted and working through them in order saves everyone a headache later. Getting to work on time matters, since the dock crew can't start until the whole team is there. Reading labels and packing slips in English is part of the job, and you'll often get comfortable with the handheld scanner after a short walkthrough. If priorities shift mid-shift, you can adjust and move to whichever area needs help, it's just how the day goes. Staying calm and asking a question beats guessing, and we'd rather you check with someone first.
