Warehouse Associate

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring that all processes related to inventory management, shipping, and receiving are executed smoothly. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and quality while working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate various warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers for materials handling. Manage inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels and timely replenishment. Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of materials to prevent damage. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and order fulfillment. Perform picking and packing duties with attention to detail to meet shipping deadlines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse in accordance with OSHA standards. Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Qualifications Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes. Familiarity with inventory management practices and systems, including AS400 or similar software. Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, or cranes is highly desirable. Knowledge of mechanical systems and basic maintenance practices is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for effective stocking and order picking. Understanding of packaging requirements for various products to ensure safe transportation.
