In this vital role, as the warehouse associate and driver, you be responsible for the careful inspection and storing of received inventory as well as safely navigating to and from installation locations. You will be responsible for effectively communicating with project designers and the warehouse team. Your proactive approach will help us maintain a safe, efficient, and organized warehouse environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management, heavy equipment operation, and logistics while contributing to a fast-paced, collaborative team. Successful candidates should have a professional demeanor, excellent written and verbal skills, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to solve problems efficiently and effectively. Duties Efficiently inspect, store, and prepare for upcoming installations to ensure accurate delivery fulfillment. Capable of lifting and carrying heavy furniture items with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely and effectively to load and unload inventory. Manage inventory control through warehouse management systems and platforms, maintaining accurate inventory input. Assist with receiving processes by verifying inbound shipments, inspecting goods for damage, and ensuring proper documentation. Support warehouse activities by managing inventory, organizing storage areas, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Handle materials with care during operational related tasks, including heavy lifting and handling of large or fragile items. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow, improve inventory management procedures, and ensure timely order processing. Experience Experience in warehouse operations is a plus but not mandatory for this position Valid driver’s license with clean driving record Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs Stand/walk for extended periods of time Must be able to pass a drug test and physical Maintain a professional appearance Punctual Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate heavy machinery safely and perform basic maintenance or troubleshooting when needed.
