Warehouse Associate/Alternate Driver

Position Summary: We are a leading manufacturer in the flooring industry, opening our doors for the position of a Warehouse/Alternate Driver at our Salt Lake City Branch Location . Primary functions are as Warehouse Associate, picking and pulling orders, cleaning the warehouse, counting inventory, and cutting samples. At times Company will need the associate for Local and Regional deliveries. Truck drivers are responsible for delivering flooring product to retail stores following route schedules and at times required to pick up returned material. Driver will assist pre loading truck to ensure all orders are accounted for and properly secured. Safely operate company equipment and follow all FMCSA/DOT rules and regulations. Collecting COD’s and signed paperwork. Customer service is required for these routes. Compensation Based on Experience. Responsibilities: -Picking, pulling, strapping, and wrapping palletized material for delivery -Counting inventory and ensuring product is in good sellable condition -Loading, unloading, and/or assisting in loading and unloading trucks with a forklift -Operate company equipment in a safe and responsible manner -Review orders before and after each delivery to ensure orders are complete. -Collect COD payments -Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines -Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage before and after the route -Utilize log-ins with the app -Solid Communication with the office team Job Qualifications: -Class C -At least 25 years of age -1-2 years commercial driving experience -Stable work record -Forklift experience - Clean driving record -Reliable and customer oriented -Safety oriented Physical Requirements: -The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this truck driver job - Bending, standing, lifting, in a warehouse environment that may be warm or cold -The associate must regularly lift and /or move up 70 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 90 pounds Benefits -Bi-Weekly Pay (Direct Deposit) -Option to join gropu plan for Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance -Compensation Based on Experience If this sounds like you please send your resume including salary requirements via email Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Experience: warehouse: 1 year (Preferred) Delivery driver: 2 years (Required) License/Certification: Non-CDL Class C (Preferred) Forklift Certification (Preferred) Work Location: In person
