Warehouse Associate

Overview: The company engaging in manufacturing of automotive brake part is looking for a detail oriented candidate for a warehouse associate position. Duties involve daily preparation of shipments and receiving of goods. The position requires to maintain the warehouse in a clean and orderly condition. Examples of Primary Tasks: Prepare daily shipments according to documents created by Logistics Coordinator. Load and unload shipments. Organize inventory by part number. Report damaged product to the Logistics Coordinator or QA Engineers. Prepare shipments going to platers per packing list prepared by QA department. Weigh and verify shipments returned from platers. Report unusual conditions of shipments returned from platers to QA department. Follow established company work procedures. Comply with customer specific requirements. Comply with company Quality Management System requirements. Qualifications: Strong knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order picking & packing, and logistics operations Forklift certifications Basic math skills for counting inventory quantities, calculating weights or measurements, and verifying shipment details Familiarity with international trade regulations, trade compliance standards, and packaging requirements for global shipments Detail oriented with organizational skills Good communication skills, verbal and written Ability to lift objects up to 50 Lbs Ability to kneel, stand, and bend over to prepare or unpack shipments Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Education: High school or equivalent (Required) Language: English (Required) Shift availability: Day Shift (Required) Ability to Commute: Buffalo Grove, IL 60089 (Required) Work Location: In person
