We are seeking a qualified Warehouse Worker/Delivery Driver to help in the daily operation of the warehouse and assist in fulfilment and processing of orders. The products and services that we offer have made us a local and nationwide leader in the commercial and industrial sectors. Our ideal Warehouse Worker/Delivery Driver will take pride in operating accurately, quickly and efficiently. We are seeking a quick learner with strong listening and communication skills, and someone well versed in a high-volume warehouse environment. Often tasked with deadlines and evolving problems that arise in a small business environment, it’s essential that our General Warehouse Worker/Delivery Driver be reliable and professional. Duties and Responsibilities · Move inventory and materials throughout the warehouse/showroom as needed, including using a pallet jack and forklift. · Process inventory for deliveries/pickups. · Sort, organize, and store inventory in proper location. · Package and label items safely and correctly. · Unpack, sort, and palletize large shipments, including steel banding · Pull, pack, and stage outgoing orders. · Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors. · Stack and organize large bulk items. · Load, secure, and deliver orders safely and on time to job sites and customer locations around the Las Vegas valley. · Handle and operate necessary tools and accessories as needed to maintain a high-volume warehouse. · Keep accurate logs and documentation for inventory processing and auditing. · Assist with inventory as needed, accurately and efficiently. · Ensure safety measures are being adhered to and safety equipment is being utilized. · Work with a sense of urgency to complete tasks timely, efficiently and accurately. · Interact professionally with customers, vendors and fellow employees. · Build and construct stock items as needed. · Keep warehouse and subsequent work areas clean and tidy and free of debris. · Make deliveries or pick-ups to or from customers in a timely and professional manner. · Follow all laws and rules of the roadway. · Assist customers with loading or unloading as needed. Preferred Qualifications and Requirements · High School Degree or equivalent. · Able to pass drug test/background check. · Physically able to sit, lift, stand, move, squat, walk and climb in a warehouse environment during the entire course of the shift. · Forklift certification required. Must be able to pass fork lift driving test. · Previous experience working with inventory software. Knowledge of logistics, BOL, PO’s. · At least one year of previous warehouse/delivery driver experience is required. · Physically able to lift, carry, push, pull or guide up to 60 pounds or more. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel. · Ability to operate standard office equipment and pertinent software applications. · Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. · High attention to detail and monitors quality/quantity of inventory. · Highly organized and able to store items efficiently. · Valid Driver’s License and Insurance. Proof of both will be required. · Strong time management and organizational skills and ability to properly prioritize. · An honest and reliable employee that enjoys working within the industry.
