Warehouse Associate

JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a dependable, organized, and hardworking Warehouse Associate to assist with daily warehouse operations at our food distribution facility. This position involves receiving and shipping products, operating a forklift and pallet jack, maintaining inventory organization, and ensuring products are stored and rotated properly. The ideal candidate is safety conscious, detail oriented, and comfortable working in a refrigerated warehouse environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES · Safely operate a forklift and pallet jack to move and position products. · Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks. · Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments. · Pull, stage, and prepare orders for delivery or shipment. · Rotate products using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices to maintain product freshness and quality. · Move products between the warehouse, cooler, and onsite freezer as needed. · Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment. · Assist with physical inventory counts and verify product quantities. · Follow proper food safety, product handling, and storage procedures. · Ensure products are stored in the correct locations and temperatures. · Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
