Warehouse Associate

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team. This role involves supporting warehouse operations through inventory management, materials handling, and equipment operation. The ideal candidate will have prior warehouse experience and possess skills in inventory control, heavy equipment operation, and order fulfillment. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where safety, efficiency, and accuracy are paramount. Duties Manage inventory using warehouse management systems and RF scanners to ensure accurate stock levels and order fulfillment Operate heavy equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers in accordance with OSHA standards Assist with shipping and receiving processes by loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment following proper procedures for packaging and labeling Stock shelves and organize materials to optimize warehouse space and accessibility Support manufacturing processes by handling materials transfer and assembly tasks as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment adhering to safety protocols Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to improve workflow efficiency and inventory accuracy Requirements Proven experience in warehouse distribution, inventory management, or related roles Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, and RF scanners Ability to operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers; mechanical knowledge is a plus Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards for warehouse operations Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues when necessary Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual tasks throughout the shift Prior experience in shipping & receiving, order picking & packing, or manufacturing environments preferred Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and stock management Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining safety standards This position is essential for maintaining efficient warehouse operations through effective materials handling, inventory control, and equipment operation.
