Warehouse Associate

Why work at Thai United •Great atmosphere and team environment •Not required to work Saturdays, Sundays, evenings, or statutory holidays •Comprehensive flexible health benefit program – including dental, travel, life insurance •Flexible hours – determine at hiring Key responsibilities: •Demonstrate a high-level of accuracy & urgency in the Warehouse •Prepare and move finished products – palletizing, shrink-wrapping, boxing, labeling •Operate a Forklift & pallet jacks •Maintain a clean and organized work space •Follow Warehouse Policies & Procedures •Follow Warehouse Health and Safety guidelines •A variety of tasks will be required throughout the shift – including receiving, shipping, packing, cleaning, sorting Receiving: •physically unload boxes from shipping containers, palletize them and shrink wrap to a high-standard •drive fork lifts and can help you get your license •match and record the paperwork to the contents inside of container to ensure accuracy Shipping: •Pick orders accurately and efficiently •Package finished product for shipping (wrap pallets, labeling, repack) •Efficiently prepare outbound shipments in order to minimize truck dock time. •Complete daily records as and when required. •Coordinate with logistics team for BOL & other paperwork Qualifications: •Must be in good physical condition •High School or equivalent experience and exceptional ability •Able to repetitively lift and move heavy boxes (up to 50lbs) •Warehouse experience in high-volume, food-service, distribution or logistics or equivalent experience is an asset •Forklift and pallet jack experience is an asset •Ability to work independently with minimum supervision •Great work ethic, high initiative, self-motivation and positive attitude •Ability to multi-task, time management skills, detail-oriented •Effective problem solving skills About Thai United Food Trading Ltd. – a fast growing ethnic food and personal care products distribution company located in Burnaby BC Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.25-$22.00 per hour Benefits: Casual dress Company events Dental care Extended health care On-site parking Vision care Experience: warehouse: 1 year (preferred) warehouse worker: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person
