The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and materials handling. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse processes and the ability to operate various equipment safely and effectively. Responsibilities Manage inventory control processes to maintain accurate stock levels. Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, and order picker. Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring all items are properly documented. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for tracking inventory. Execute picking and packing duties to fulfill customer orders accurately. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standards. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and efficiency. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any mechanical issues. Assist in stocking shelves and organizing products within the warehouse. Participate in training sessions for new equipment or processes as required. Qualifications Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with a solid understanding of warehouse distribution practices. Familiarity with inventory management systems such as FISHBOWL is a plus. Experience operating heavy equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 60 pounds) as needed throughout the shift. Knowledge of packaging standards and procedures for safe shipping of products. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills for effective materials handling. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. You’ll receive, stock, pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, using warehouse management systems and equipment to support dependable distribution. Your impact: Accurate order fulfillment helps customers receive the right products on time. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments; load and unload goods safely. Stock inventory, maintain organized storage areas, and update records through data entry. Pick and pack orders using an order picker, radio-frequency (RF) scanner, pallet jack, or forklift, as assigned. Prepare packages and shipping documents, supporting shipping and receiving, e-commerce orders, and shipping logistics. Follow warehouse procedures and applicable trade compliance requirements, including international trade regulations. Skills Essential: Basic math, attention to detail, customer service, and the ability to follow safe warehouse operations and picking and packing procedures. Essential: Familiarity with inventory management, warehouse distribution, order picking, and logistics; warehouse experience is helpful. Preferred: Experience with a warehouse management system, inventory management software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, materials requirements planning (MRP), or AS400. Preferred: Microsoft Office skills and experience with stocking, packaging, forklift operation, order fulfillment, or shipping and receiving.
