Warehouse Associate
Compass Materials Inc.Job Summary As a Warehouse Associate, you’ll keep products moving through warehouse operations, from receiving and stocking to picking, packing, and shipping. You will maintain accurate records, support order fulfillment, and help deliver orders to customers. Accurate inventory and careful order handling help customers and colleagues receive the right products on time. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, load, and unload shipments; complete shipping and receiving tasks. Stock products and perform order picking, packing and packaging Coordinating outgoing shipments during carrier pick ups Apply inventory management practices and basic math to check stock, resolve discrepancies, and support accurate order fulfillment. Operating forklift Provide responsive customer service and coordinate with logistics partners Must be able to handle dense flooring boxes that weigh up to 70 lbs Perform local client deliveries via company vehicle Managing accurate inventory Maintain up-to-date showroom flooring display samples Self-directed work ethic with the capability to independently manage all daily warehouse functions, from fulfillment to security and shipping coordination Qualifications Warehouse experience and familiarity with warehouse operations, inventory management, and shipping logistics are preferred. Ability to follow shipping and handling procedures is essential. Certified in operating Forklift Order picker, and pallet jack experience is required. High Organization skills, quick thinker and problem solver. Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Experience: Warehouse: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: Forklift Certification (Preferred) Work Location: In person
