Job Summary: The Production Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient handling of inventory, merchandise, and shipping orders. This role will collaborate closely with various departments, including billing and production, to guarantee smooth workflow and timely delivery of services. Key Responsibilities: Knife Changes & Merchandise: o Perform regular knife changes as per production requirements. o Manage and organize merchandise for efficient access and distribution. Inventory Room Management: o Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure the inventory room is organized. o Conduct regular inventory checks and audits. o Order and restock inventory as needed. Program Items Reporting: o Generate and maintain reports on program items. o Monitor program item usage and ensure adequate stock levels. Merchandise Orders and Cutlery Complaints: o Process merchandise orders accurately and in a timely manner. o Handle cutlery complaints received via email, ensuring prompt resolution. Collaboration with Billing Department: o Work with the billing department to organize invoices and route statements. o Assist in resolving billing discrepancies related to inventory and shipments. Shipping Orders by Freight: o Prepare and ship orders via freight carriers such as UPS, R+L, etc. o Ensure all shipping documentation is accurate and complete. o Track shipments and coordinate with carriers to resolve any issues. Route Check-in Procedures o Ensure effective and accurate route check-in procedures are completed daily. o Scan and process all boxes received from transfer trucks, ensuring incoming inventory is accurately accounted for and properly assigned. o Scan and process all boxes received from transfer trucks, ensuring incoming inventory is accurately accounted for and properly assigned. Qualifications: · High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in warehouse management, logistics, or a related field is a plus. · Proven experience in a warehouse or production environment. · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. · Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. · Proficiency in using computers, mobile devices and Microsoft Office. · Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) as required.
