Warehouse Associate

Job Description United Furniture Import & Export, Inc. is looking for a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for assisting with daily warehouse operations, including loading and unloading trucks, receiving merchandise, picking and preparing orders, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. We are looking for someone who is reliable, works well with others, follows instructions, and is comfortable with physical warehouse work. Responsibilities Load and unload trucks and containers Receive and inspect incoming merchandise Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders Move and organize furniture and inventory throughout the warehouse Assist with inventory counts and stock organization Verify products and quantities when receiving or preparing orders Help maintain a clean and organized warehouse Follow company safety procedures and supervisor instructions Use pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed Report damaged merchandise or inventory issues to management Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned Requirements Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical work throughout the shift Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Comfortable working in a warehouse environment Warehouse experience is preferred but not required Preferred Qualifications Previous warehouse, receiving, shipping, furniture, or distribution experience Experience loading and unloading trucks Familiarity with warehouse inventory procedures Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred Forklift certified is a plus Work Environment This is an active warehouse position that involves frequent lifting, moving merchandise, standing, walking, bending, and working around warehouse equipment. Pay: From $16.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) Work Location: In person
