Warehouse Associate

Job Overview Rancho Logistics Corp. is seeking dependable, motivated, and experienced Warehouse Associates to join our warehouse operations team in San Bernardino, California. We are looking for individuals with experience in general warehouse operations, particularly those skilled in operating sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with order picking, putaway, inventory handling, shipping, and receiving. This is a hands-on position that requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to workplace safety. Successful candidates must be willing to perform a variety of warehouse duties and assist in different departments based on daily operational needs. Key Responsibilities Accurately pick, verify, and stage products according to customer orders, work orders, and warehouse instructions. Operate sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, pallet jacks, and other authorized material-handling equipment. Perform putaway and replenishment activities, ensuring products are stored safely and in their assigned locations. Load and unload trailers, containers, and delivery vehicles while following established safety procedures. Receive, inspect, count, label, and organize inbound and outbound merchandise. Prepare products for shipment, including palletizing, labeling, wrapping, staging, and securing loads. Utilize warehouse scanners and inventory systems to record product movements and maintain accurate inventory records. Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and the investigation of product discrepancies. Inspect merchandise for damage, incorrect labeling, or other quality concerns and promptly report issues. Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse areas, including aisles, loading docks, staging areas, and storage locations. Complete required equipment inspections and report equipment malfunctions or unsafe conditions. Work cooperatively with supervisors and team members to meet daily productivity, quality, and shipping goals. Assist with general warehouse duties and other operational functions as assigned. Qualifications and Experience Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment. Hands-on experience operating one or more of the following: Sit-down forklift Reach truck Order picker Electric pallet jack or other warehouse equipment Experience with order picking, putaway, replenishment, and material handling. Familiarity with shipping, receiving, trailer loading and unloading, and inventory procedures. Experience using handheld scanners or warehouse management systems. Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment. General Requirements: Ability and willingness to perform various warehouse duties as operational needs change. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established safety procedures. Willingness to complete required equipment training and evaluations before operating powered equipment. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
