Warehouse Associate

Granite Direct is hiring!!! We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team in Columbus, Ohio! This role is with one of Ohio's premier stone countertop fabrication and installation companies! Granite Direct provides full-service templating, fabrication, and installation of granite, marble, soapstone, quartzite, and quartz countertops. This isn't a "stack boxes all day" warehouse job. Our Warehouse Associate keeps our slab inventory, materials, and shop flow running smoothly, and fills in wherever the business needs an extra hand that day. If you've worked in different parts of the countertop industry, even briefly, and you enjoy a day that's never quite the same twice, this role is for you. We're looking for someone versatile, positive, and dependable: the person coworkers count on to jump in, figure it out, and keep things moving. Key Responsibilities: Receive, unload, inspect, and put away slab deliveries and materials Safely move and stage slabs with a forklift and other handling equipment Keep slab inventory accurate and organized, including tagging, locating, and updating records in our system Pull and stage material for fabrication, and help load jobs for install Assist customers and sales staff with slab viewings and selections when needed Keep the warehouse and yard clean, safe, and organized Fill in across the business as needed, including the shop, deliveries, installs, or office support Help lead by example: train newer team members, keep standards high, and bring a can-do attitude To qualify you must have: High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Forklift operating experience Experience in the granite or stone countertop industry (fabrication, install, templating, warehouse, or sales; limited experience is fine) Strong work ethic: reliable, on time, and takes pride in the work Leadership skills and willingness to step up when needed Positive attitude and flexibility to handle a wide range of tasks Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse and yard environment year-round Preferred (Not Required) : Experience with Stone Profits Systems Experience with Moraware Working knowledge of Excel Experience in more than one area of the countertop business What We Offer Up to $25/hour, based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid time off (PTO) Profit sharing Variety: you'll learn and work across many parts of the business Room to grow with a stable, local company Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Referral program Vision insurance Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Language: English (Preferred) Work Location: In person
