Warehouse Associate

Position Summary The Warehouse Associate supports the daily operations of our distribution center by handling inventory, preparing orders, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. This role is essential to ensure timely and accurate delivery of building material products to customers and job sites. Key Responsibilities Receive, verify, and stock incoming products and materials. Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment or delivery. Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts. Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks. As needed, comfortable driving or learning to drive 16-foot box truck to do customer deliveries to construction job sites. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily goals. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. 1+ year of warehouse experience preferred; building materials experience is a plus. Familiarity with warehouse equipment and safety procedures. Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems. Valid driver’s license is required for some delivery tasks. Preferred Skills Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Customer service focused and team-oriented mindset. Work Environment Indoor warehouse setting with occasional outdoor work. Fast-paced, physically active role requiring frequent lifting and movement. Standard hours with occasional overtime. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. Frequent repetitive motions, including packing, sorting, and labeling. Must be able to operate warehouse equipment as needed.
