Regional Warehouse and LogisticsSummary of Key Responsibilities: Shift: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - FridaySteel Toe Shoes/ Boots RequiredPromote a positive working environment based on team dynamics, mutual respect, and adherence to the organization’s stated principles and values.Pick customer orders, of all types, accurately, and in a timely manner.Determine if orders can ship via the manner indicated on the picking ticket and take the necessary actions to resolve incompatible shipping methods.Provide picked orders to the shipping team / will call support for outbound processing.Demonstrate and apply analytic problem-solving skills to resolve day-to-day inventory issues that impact order-picking processes.Participate in daily cleaning and upkeep of the facility.Displays strong work ethic and honesty and adheres to all company policies and procedures.Engages in work with a high sense of urgency, highly organized and detail oriented.Be open to change and deal calmly and effectively with high-stress situations.Additional job duties and responsibilities may be added at any time, as business needs may dictate.Qualifications:Able to meet deadlines.Excellent attendance record required.Able to work overtime as needed.Requirements: General knowledge of electrical products. Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers to aid in satisfying customer requirements. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations in order to accurately complete job tasks. Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks and requirements. Accurately performs all required checks and completes any paperwork required to complete the order, checking, and shipping procedures. Utilizes company-approved computer software necessary to complete job function, and is prepared to manually perform computer-related tasks in absence of operational computers, printers, and/or software. l Immediately receives all freight deliveries in the presence of the delivery agent. l Immediately reports any shortages and/or product damage to Supervisor, Distribution Center Manager, and Delivery Agent. l Stocks received shipments upon Supervisor's approval. l Ensures all products are properly rotated when receiving shipments. l Ensures all pickable product locations are adequately stocked and ready. l Obtains and utilizes a forklift certification. l Properly maintains motorized warehouse equipment. l Lifts objects weighing at least 50 pounds multiple times daily. l Assists with physical inventory and cycle counts. l Complies with all shipping and warehouse regulations and distribution center procedures. l Cleans and maintains warehouse to ensure work efficiency and compliance with safety regulations. performs routine aspects of the job and progresses to more varied and complex activities with development of additional knowledge and experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 per hour Experience: Sit Down Forklift: 1 year (Required) Forklift: 1 year (Required) Work Location: On the road
