Warehouse Associate

G.A. West & Co. is seeking a Warehouse Associate for a long term role in Creola, AL. Details below: Typical Responsibilities Include: · Receiving and reviewing requisitions for material, tools, PPE, etc. · Processing, packaging and loading orders for shipment · Checking outgoing shipments for completion and accuracy · Organizing and restocking shelves and maintaining inventory · Receiving, unloading and placing incoming inventory items appropriately · Abide by all company safety regulations · General housekeeping of warehouse space · Light maintenance of warehouse or office space – examples include occasionally helping move office furniture, hanging whiteboards, changing light bulbs etc. · Parts running and other duties assigned as needed Requirements · High school diploma or GED preferred but not required · Must be organized and detail oriented · Must be capable of learning various types of material and equipment titles and parts number · Minimum of 1-2 years of warehouse experience · Forklift certification isn’t required but is a huge plus G.A.
