JOB DESCRIPTION Warehouse Associate This role is ideally suited for a high-energy individual who enjoys a varied daily work schedule. Shift start and end times can vary based on business needs. The Warehouse Associate performs a variety of warehouse activities including receiving, putting away, picking, packing, shipping and cleanroom pre-wetted wiper manufacturing. The Route Driver duties include delivering to Vendor Managed accounts via company vehicle in the Phoenix metro area. Other deliveries as assigned. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Work is performed under little or no guidance and assigned in the form of broad objectives. Significant ingenuity is expected to meet customer service objectives and recommend solutions to complex problems. May be responsible for the physical opening and closing of the warehouse and security gates. Receives incoming materials and completes put away transactions accurately and promptly. Inspects incoming materials and products for part number, lot number, quantities, and condition. Records discrepancies and rejects non-compliant items. Ensure each SKU’s primary pick position is fully stocked with the oldest inventory lot number. Picks and packs orders to be shipped to customers. Inspects for part number, lot number, condition, and quantities. Select appropriate packaging when pulling less than case size orders. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and responsibly. Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines. Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet productivity goals. Report any issues or operational challenges promptly. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Education: High school diploma or GED required Warehouse and/or distribution experience is strongly preferred Licenses, Registrations, Certifications or Special Requirements: A valid Class D Arizona Driver’s License is required Must pass an annual forklift operator’s exam Must pass an annual physical to drive the Company delivery truck Must pass an annual test of insurability to drive Company delivery truck Work Environment and Physical Demands: Position requires the employee to lift to 50 lb. boxes and objects Standing or walking for extended periods of time is required Must be able to work in a clean room environment, including wearing cleanroom PPE for extended periods of time. Must be able to be exposed to isopropyl alcohol for extended periods of time, which may present health hazards if not handled appropriately. · Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
