Warehouse Associate

Title: Warehouse Associate Location: Suwanee, GA 30024 Job Type: Temp-to-Hire Schedule: Monday Friday, between 6:00 AM and 6:30 PM Overtime: May be required Job Summary We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations. This position will mainly focus on packing and shipping, but the selected candidate should be comfortable helping with different warehouse activities as needed. The ideal candidate should have good attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities Pick, pack, label, and prepare products for shipment. Receive and unload incoming materials. Sort, organize, and store products in the appropriate locations. Assist with loading and unloading trucks. Verify products, quantities, and shipment information for accuracy. Use RF scanners or handheld devices to locate and track products. Assist with inventory counts and maintaining accurate inventory records. Enter basic information into warehouse computer systems. Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment when required. Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company guidelines. Help with receiving, picking, put-away, sorting, packing, and shipping as assigned. Report damaged products, inventory discrepancies, or other issues to management. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Perform other warehouse duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum 1 year of warehouse or related experience preferred. Previous experience with picking, packing, shipping, receiving, or material handling is a plus. Forklift or cherry picker experience is preferred. Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse systems. RF scanner experience is a plus. Basic math skills required. Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good attendance and dependable work habits. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Must be flexible to perform different warehouse tasks as needed. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Regular bending, lifting, reaching, kneeling, and moving around the warehouse. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. , occasionally with assistance. Must be comfortable working in a warehouse that may become hot during the summer. Steel-toe safety shoes are required. Additional protective equipment may be required depending on the task. Must be willing to work overtime when needed. Additional Information This is a fast-paced, same-day shipping environment. Accuracy and attention to detail are more important than simply working quickly. Employees may be assigned different warehouse responsibilities based on daily workload.
