Warehouse Associate

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour Job description: SUMMARY: The Warehouse Associate is responsible for assisting in a variety of warehouse duties, including shipping and receiving, unloading and loading trucks, fulfilling sales orders, and assisting in IT/shipping systems. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: · Perform warehouse operations, specifically pick/pack/ship activities, · Monitors shipping systems · Receive trucks and unload merchandise, · Process receipted product according to SOP, · Stock warehouse with product, · Fulfill customer orders, · Move items from pick locations and package for shipment, · Follow all SOPs and safety codes, · Perform facilities maintenance, · Identify damage or loss of product stored in the warehouse, · Carry out tasks as assigned by the warehouse supervisor / manager. OTHER FUNCTIONS: · Participate in inventory control and logistics projects as they arise, · Other duties, as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES): · 1 - 3 years of work experience in a Warehousing and Distribution environment, · Customer orientation; achieving Company, department, and personal goals through a strong customer focus, · Good communication skills (telephone and email) are essential, · Team player with proven ability to work well under deadlines, · Working knowledge of various vendor shipping applications, · Strong work ethic, · NetSuite experience, PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
