Responsibilities As a Warehouse Associate, your responsibilities will include: Picking and preparing customer orders accurately and efficiently Preparing e-commerce/web orders for shipment Picking, packing, labeling, and shipping products Receiving incoming products Loading and unloading trucks and containers Building, wrapping, and preparing pallets for shipment Breaking down and reorganizing incoming pallets when required Moving and organizing inventory within the warehouse Ensuring products are stored in their designated locations Following FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory procedures Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse Cleaning warehouse work areas and assisting with general warehouse housekeeping Following Good Distribution Practices (GDP), food-safety procedures, and company policies Following all workplace health and safety procedures Reporting damaged products, inventory discrepancies, or other issues to the Warehouse Manager Assisting the Warehouse Manager and other team members as required Performing other warehouse-related duties as assigned What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will be: Reliable and punctual Hardworking and motivated Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment Able to follow instructions and established procedures Able to work independently as well as part of a team Physically capable of performing regular warehouse duties, including lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods Focused on accuracy when preparing and receiving orders Committed to maintaining a clean and safe workplace Willing to learn and take on additional responsibilities as the company grows Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, order-picking, food distribution, or logistics experience is considered an asset. Experience Proven supervisory or team management experience within a warehouse environment is a big plus. Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and warehouse management systems. Experience with supply chain operations, inventory control, order picking processes, and logistics coordination. Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement projects using analysis skills to identify efficiencies. Knowledge of forklift operation (certification preferred) and heavy lifting safety procedures. Bilingual abilities in English and French are highly desirable for effective communication across diverse teams. Spanish is also a plus.
