Warehouse Associate I Integrity, efficiency, speed, quality, reliability and good attitude are essential traits to a successful Warehouse Associate. A Warehouse Associate prepares items for shipment including picking, labeling, packaging and consolidating. Critical thinking is a must as they will not only conduct general housekeeping and maintenance of all warehouse areas but also assist with inventory palletization, bin refills, inventory cycle counting and reporting. This position will also perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager. Requirements -Basic to moderate proficiency with Microsoft Office is important as inventory will be modified through Excel. -Consistency is key, currently the shift goes 8:00am-4:30pm but may change depending on future growth. -A High School Diploma or GED is required. -Previous warehousing experience is preferred but not as essential as a good attitude and solid work ethic. Physical Requirements and Work Environment Constant physical activities are required for this position. Such activities include ability to reach overhead, squat, and bend at the waist; the ability to lift boxes up to 50 lbs.; tolerance of standing posture continuously for 8 hours; intense walking is involved; able to tolerate working environment with inside excessive hot and cold temperatures.
