Warehouse Associate (3am-11am)

About us Best Way Trucking Service is a busy trucking and warehouse company located in Fairfield, NJ. HOURS: 3am-11am We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this position, you will support the warehouse operations by receiving shipments, processing orders, organizing shipments for routing and storing/organizing inventory. The ideal candidate is a team player with experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Experience with warehouse software preferred, but will train the right candidate. Responsibilities: - Safely and efficiently operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, order pickers, and forklifts. - Adhere to all OSHA and company safety guidelines while handling materials. - Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate counts and proper handling of packages. - Assist the warehouse supervisor in organizing and maintaining inventory. - Perform general warehouse duties, including packaging, labeling, and organizing products. - Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. - Some driving required Experience: - Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred. - Familiarity with operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, order pickers, and forklifts. - Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to materials handling and safety. - Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment. - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment. - Valid Driver's License Required Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
