As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for various warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory management. Responsibilities Assist in order fulfillment by picking, packing, and shipping orders accurately. Scans, reads, and labels packages to determine correct grouping. Sort packages that move along a conveyor line. Sort items according to the destination. Understand the Health and Safety Standards and the follow the company safety protocols. Reports any safety issues to the warehouse manager. Use hand-to-surface methods when handling packages to ensure safety and efficiency. Operate forklift and other equipment to move materials within the warehouse. Perform heavy lifting and carrying of materials as needed. Load and unload trailers with attention to proper skid placement and weight distribution. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations. Follows written and verbal instructions. Any other duties assigned to them. Required Skills Organizational and time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Prior experience in warehouse distribution and logistics preferred Ability to operate forklift and other warehouse equipment safely Experience off loading and loading trailers - skid placement and weight distribution Capability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks consistently Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment processes Knowledge computer software such as outlook, word, excel, Microsoft TEAMS, Extensiv WMS (Warehouse Management System), an asset Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, and experience in a warehouse environment. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions. Strong commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy in warehouse operations.
