Warehouse Associate 2nd Shift

Title: Warehouse Associate II Date: January 2024 Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor Position Type: Non-Exempt Pay: $18 - $24 Summary: The main function of the Warehouse Associate II is to move materials, finished goods, and raw ingredients between buildings. Also load and unload trucks along with all required verification and associated documentation for moving inventory. Essential Job Functions: Inspect and perform daily equipment inspections, notify manager of any deviances. On-time delivery of ingredients including pre-made sauces (in bins) to production Material handling between buildings - Responsible for preparing and acquiring all required documentation for ingredients to be transferred between buildings. Verifying quantity and lot codes to required paperwork. Staging of raw, finished, and packaging materials both in warehouse and production areas. Pulling requisitions for same day and future productions Verifying inventory and lot numbers when moving anything within warehouse along with maintaining paperwork. Proficient use of NAV inventory system (or current ERP). Look up locations, move inventory locations, receive PO’s and properly document transactions on the transfer forms. Perform daily inventory counts on ingredients, packaging, and finished goods. Including verification of production finished goods numbers from previous day. Safely operate Yard Horse and Box Truck, including daily pre and post operational inspections to include any trailers that are moved during the day. Conducts trailer inspections prior to loading or unloading, including yard trailers. Conducts yard checks per company policy on trailers recording fuel levels, the set and current temperatures for each of the units, any abnormal warnings on the units, check for leaks on the ground of any liquids, including product, fuel, oil, etc. Communicate any abnormalities to Warehouse Manager immediately. Notifying supervisor/manager of any issues with temperature or quality related issues of inbound or outbound loads. Inspects inbound and outbound deliveries to ensure compliance with established quality guidelines. Ensure trailers are clean and free of debris prior to loading. Performs daily receiving and shipping of product, packaging material, and raw materials following company SOP’s and as directed by supervisor. Regularly communicates information to supervisor including when leaving premises, taking breaks or lunches. Forklift operation (must be licensed) Reach Truck, Stand up & Walkie. Transfer delivery packages between buildings Other duties as assigned by leadership. Job Safety Requirements: Safety is our top priority. Job Requirements: Fork truck certification – working knowledge of all operational lifts Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations Works cooperatively and collaboratively within a group. Knowledge of the products, services, and systems of the company. Reliable transportation Gives attention to detail and follows instructions. High School Diploma or GED Ability to stay organized and multi-task in a professional and efficient manner. Basic knowledge of HACCP, GMP’s, Food Safety. Ability to perform multi-tasks daily. Ability to meet deadlines. Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures. Problem-solving skills. Industry knowledge: acquire and maintain knowledge of full Ragozzino product range.
