Role Description The Warehouse Associate role at Dunns Sporting Goods is a full-time, on-site position based in Milwaukee, WI. Day-to-day responsibilities include receiving, unloading, and inspecting incoming shipments; accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders for store replenishment and customer delivery; and organizing inventory in designated storage locations. The role involves using warehouse tools and equipment, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and following established procedures for labeling, counting, and tracking products. Warehouse Associates regularly collaborate with team members, assist with cycle counts and inventory audits, and help resolve basic shipping or product issues to ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment. Qualifications Ability to handle core warehouse tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders with accuracy and attention to detail. Capability to safely lift, move, and organize merchandise, including use of pallet jacks or related equipment, and adherence to safety guidelines. Basic organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple tasks, meet daily targets, and follow standard operating procedures. Comfort working with simple inventory or warehouse management systems, scanners, and basic computer applications to track stock and orders. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members and supervisors in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with prior warehouse, distribution, retail stockroom, or logistics experience considered an asset. Reliability in attendance, willingness to work scheduled shifts, and readiness to follow safety and quality standards.
